Dr. Alexus Hooker - Veterinarian

Dr. Alexus Hooker is a valued veterinarian at Parkside Animal Hospital.

I graduated from Texas A&M University- Commerce with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. I attended St. George's University in Grenada and finished my doctorate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021. I have a special interest in surgery and shelter medicine. Prior to this I was working at the Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center, a high-volume clinic dedicated to providing veterinary care for underserved communities.

I enjoy reading, playing video games, and kayaking. I have one kitty at home.
